chime and dome light on

chime and dome light on
today on my way home , in the rain, my dome light comes on the the chime starts going off.
i am assuming that water got into something somewhere, any ideas where to start looking? i did check under the hood and all the fuses inside engine compartment are ok.
93 F-250, 2x4, 5.8 L
