2011 Explore in shop, electrical problem

Wife calls me on Friday after work and says her truck is totally dead, will not start and no lights at all, so I head over there and YUP, she is right, nothing. So I jump the truck and drive it home, put battery on charger and let it charge overnight, my charger will shut off when fully charged. Wake up in the am and it is still charging.

I take the truck to the dealer at 8am, they get me right in and say they are going to run a complete electrical test which will take about 2-2.5 hrs, and it does. They say truck has a continuous 2 amp drain, they start pulling fuses but cannot find it, after they continue to work on it till 11:30, they tell me they will need to contact Ford on Monday and send me on my way in a rental.

Truck is a 2011 Explore, with 8K miles on it, purchased in 6/2011.

Anyone else come across this?

We have been really happy with it since purchase, hope they find an actual problem and it is not an Electoral Gremlin they will keep showing itself…

My wife woke up one morning and the truck would not even turn over. She called Ford roadside and the showed and tightened the positive battery clamp. It was loose from the dealer. Never had another problem since. Figures just a fluk that some how it did not get tightened all the way during manufacturing. Did not even need to jump the truck, wrench and turn the key.

We got the truck back, on Weds, It has not happened again.
they did a master rest on truck and let it sit for a day and a half, and NO more draw.

2 amp draw was coming from the APIB, believe that is what they called it. They do not know why.
