What gear oil is supposed to go in my rear diff in my 02 F250? I am 99% sure i have the non limited slip standard rear end. My truck is at about 109k and i just realized i have never changed it. Joe

The Sterling 10.5 specs 75w140 gear oil. I used Amsoil Severe Gear because I have an account with a vendor that sells it. Works well and is about the same price as a lot of other 75w140 oils. Best to not add any friction modifier unless you experience chatter.(only applies to the limited slip diff obviously)

I've used the 75w110 amsoil severe gear lube, a tick better fuel mileage.
