One side is jacked up & I'm on my way to parts store to p/u a set wheel bearings. Feels like I have one wheel "death wobble" when braking.

 

dont forget to changes the races David. I made that mistake once and was doing it again in a year.

 

I ordered an Air Lift kit for the F250 yesterday. It has the camper package, but nothing works like air bags. With uneven loads, you can bring each side up to the exact same height.

Ordered from TruckAddons. Those folks smack when it comes to the lowest prices.

 

r/r the dissy it helped a little still have a surge at 50-60 mph 3 sets of metering sticks no help ??? i know it not vacuum related but i don't know yet still searching

 

Thomas, I would have, if I had bought that inexpensive press that I should have bought a while back. The rotors are power slots (& don't even have 10K on them) that came with the inner races already pressed in them. The play was barely even noticeable, But I had tightened it a bit a while back when I first thought I felt something. This set I used a torque wrench & the book settings/procedure.... There's still a bit of wobble.

I think its something either in the caliper or that side of the suspension. Reasons are:

1) When I went to pull the caliper off, it felt like the bolts weren't that tight for what I expect a caliper bolt should need to be loosened. When I went to tighten it back down, I didn't get a feeling of "full seating" of the bolt like you should get when you reach the end of the threads. (on both bolts) In fact it was the feeling you get tightening down a cross thread, but I also got the "feeling" like I was about to snap them off as well if I cranked even more. (They're pretty long & skinny bolts)

2) The other thing is the "clunk" I occasionally get when making a extreme/sharp turn into a high/low angle driveway or parking lot. The radius arm bushings "look" OK, but I can't put enough "stink" (checking for movement) on to the various suspension parts that frequently are the cause of wobble when loaded by braking.

 

Installed the 16" x 24" Rebel Flags ... they ain't comin' down!
