Aussie 'Economy' forget MPG, post your Ltr/100km here
Just for comparison purposes, post your ride, drive, and fuel consumption figures here:
F250 4WD 3" lift towing 2 tonnes @ 110kmh: 18.8 ltr/100k (SSSimon) - I've had as low at 15 L/100k running empty and driving easy.
F250 2WD highway Sydney to near Bris-vegas 13.2 ltr/100k (Ratkat)
Anyone else want to share figures?

Right. Just note down the number of k's you get between fills, and divide the number of litres you put in by the number of 100k's you've driven.
e.g. you drive 850 k's between fills and put in 120 litres when you fill to the top.
So 120 (your litres) divided by 8.5 (your 100's of k's) = 14.1 ltr/100k.
Generally 20ltr/100k is pretty thirsty for an F250 (my V8 petrol Landcruser used to use up to 25L/100k towing!!!).
13.2 ltr/100k is the best that I've heard.

Feul economy, whats that?
1977 f100 2WD. 351 Clevo,C4, 4.3 gears. On the open, straight road cruising at 80kph, it gets about 16L/100K's. Around the suburbs/city (always results in a little playing) turns to K's/100L!!!
It's good that the servo's are close by, not so good Premium is so expensive.

F100racing, I reckon you'd soon fund the addition of a bolt on overdrive unit on your 3 speed with the fuel savings!
Then again, 16L/100k is pretty much what my 4.7 V8 Landcruiser used to get, albeit at 100kmh. So the OD unit would probably just make you 20kph faster for the same 'economy'.

I got none for my new truck but;
Last truck 1988 f250 7.3 idi , auto with gear vendor overdrive, 4x4 got 12 liters per 100kms. That's pretty good mixed highway/town, probly a little more highway tho. (Also most efficient out of the 9 f trucks I've owned)
Truck before that was 1991 f350 efi 5.8, 5 speed, 4.11s with 35s, used to get 25-27/100. Was horrible.
Didn't really check any of the other trucks, had a carby 460 one that had gas and had to disconnect the gas for a week to check tanks, and that was by far worst economy I ever got.

I just did a test, did 656 km for 103 litres, mixed driving mostly highway, and about 50km towing my 20ft caravan! That's with superchip on performance and 6637 and straight 3inch pipe. I haven't worked out litres per hundred yet so can someone? Next full will be real test, towed the caravan 100+ Km, most pretty hard fast.
