RHD OCR Mount

Just received my Riff Raff OCR today Thanks Clay!

OCR = Overboost Code Regulator.

Even with a stock turbo, with the RR IC boots, a 6637 hi-flow air filter, and a Superchips tune, I get the Service Engine Light come on because the turbo blows greater than 25psi boost. I've actually seen 28psi on the gauge when pressing hard up a hill.

The OCR is fitted between the turbo and the boost sensor to regulate the boost reading to 22psi max.

Riff Raff supplies the OCR to Australia without the usual US mount - which is unusable of our RHD effies here.

I intend to mount my OCR this w/e using the 'Bryan's way' method and will post a pic here.

The only benefit of this mod is that the 'Service Engine Light' should now not come on when pushing hard up a hill with a load.

I find that with the aramid IC boot kit and high volume air filter the stock turbo can trigger the 'over boost' code and resultant lower fueling, i.e. power limiting. Once back to normal the SEL light goes off, but the code remains until read and deleted. I use my Superchips to read and delete my truck's codes.

Yikes, I'd love to but I just put $350 of diesel into the tanks and was hoping I could make it last until next financial year

Also want to save for that 4" exhaust!

Kin is so, the holes in the MAP sensor mount are just about in the same place as yours, just didn't want to skin my knuckles on the OCR when I was checking the ATF level so I came at it from the other side...

Has 'Pte Pollution Subsidy' affecting your thinking? - Maybe they been fracking for CSG in your area and polluted your drinking water?

How about after a few drinks when you need 2 hands to grab it?

Well just cause I poked my OCR towards the brake master cylinder doesn't really change the fact that it's still bolted to the same piece of metal with the holes in just about the same place as what you'd previously posted.

Like it's not different enough to call it 'Simon's Way'.

Maybe 'Bryan's Way - Simon's Variation' if you don't like it NOT being EXACTLY the same as what you did.
