I got a text from my son Michael that his source has another set of six with good tires. These with tires would be $85 each for the wheels plus $25 each for the tires. Stu

19.5 5lug wheels

Stu, I'm new to this. Trying to find 6- 19.5 tubeless wheels to replace the Widow-Makers on my new 52 Cabover F5 4x4. All these posts seem old and most look like the wheels all sold. I can't tell what's still available or not ? any help would be great thanks. Ron G. Reno NV.

Agree it's a long discussion thread. My last post (#77 of 6/15) is the only set my son and I presently have available. It is a set of 19.5" x 6" Budd #89340 tubeless wheels with a set of nice tires. They are at our son's place in Portland, OR.

In our discussion about your truck in the main forum I suggested that Josh Madsen might be a logical source for you since he lives in Salt Lake City. Probably closer than others of us. He has, I believe still available, a set of 22.5" wheels with nice tires. The 22.5" wheel is the true replacement size for your 20" widow makers. Josh's 8-22.5" tires would be a match if you have 7.50 x 20s, while the 8R19.5s used on the 89340s will be about 3" shorter. This matters to some guys, others not so much.

Your third option would be to find a set of the safer 20" tube type wheels that have a locking ring on the face of each wheel. These might still be found in your local yards. Older Fords, Dodges, and IHCs are good donors. I'm not aware of any that are now available in the classifieds, however.

Those are the options. If you weigh everything and want to do the 19.5s please say. Stu

hey, my ears are burning! just kidding. Thanks Stu. and yes I do have some 22.5" wheels here. I also have a set of 19.5 wheels but told another member here from Colorado that he could get them but I haven't heard back, I guess I need to follow up on that.

Ron, let me know if I can help with your wheel situation. Might even be able to help with someone going that direction, or at least to Elko? Shipping is a pain if you don't have to, but don't mind.

Thanks
Josh

We have several sets of the 19.5" x 6" Budd 89340s that are again available in Oregon. I'll be traveling that direction with the trailer in a few weeks and will haul them back to Illinois. If any western states guys have interest in sets, and would save on shipping by leaving them in Oregon, please speak up. Stu

I'm at present headed east with several sets of 19.5" wheels and tires on the trailer. Some of them with tires look worth saving. Should be back in Illinois mid week or so. Stu

Do you ever come thru Oklahoma?? I need 4 of those, but shipping kills it. I'm hoping to find some at the big Chickasaw OK, swap meet coming up.

Sorry, I've got a trip east planned for October but nothing your direction. Shipping of four bare wheels to OK would probably be around $200. If you were to consider it, buying four with useable tires already mounted would add some to your shipping cost, but would save you having to spend serious money on new tires. You might check with R&L Carriers to get an estimate, 1 (800)543-5589. I drop off at their Springfield, IL, depot and would suggest a depot pickup on your end, saves a lot. Each wheel and tire is about 100 lbs, so a pallet of four would be about 400 lbs. Stu

I'll be headed to Milwaukee tomorrow morning to attend Bob Jones' Truckfest 2014. Along the way I'll be dropping off a set of 19.5s with a member near Rockford, and have a second set loaded in the van if one of you northern guys is needing a set and will be going to Bob's. Save on shipping. Stu

I see you are in WA. I have sets in Illinois, but do not have a set in OR right now. I can ship if you need them soon, or can let you know when my son has more out near you. Please let me know. Stu

What I need is 19.5 inch diameter Budd wheels by 6 inch wide with 5 holes on an 8 inch diameter circle. Im looking for a tubeless wheel to mount radial tires. the plan is to replace the 17.5 diameter split rim tube type wheels on my 1972 Dodge Traveco. I am looking for 7 but could make 6 work. I have functional tires right now so I can wait a while. I can drive to Portland Oregon in 3 hours. How far is your son from Portland?

Our son Michael lives right in Portland. I'll make sure I'm right that he has none right now and will post an update later.

The wheels on your Dodge Travco are most likely Budd #66520. You'll find that number on the concave side rim lips. They are 17" x 6" and use 7.50 x 17" tube type tires. They have a Goodyear style locking side ring rim. The tubeless replacement for that is the Budd #89340 that I have advertised here. It is 19.5" x 6", and is best used with 8R19.5" tires. The 8R19.5" will very closely match the diameter of your current 7.50 x 17s. Stu

I confirmed the #66520 on the rim. I knew they were 17 inch but typed 17.5 in error. I do have 7.50X17 tires on some of the wheels and want to match this diameter. Are we still talking $85 per wheel?
