Power window problem

The problem is on the drivers side window. When i press the button once and the window starts to go down automatically it stops about halfway. I don't have any problems when i hold the button down, the window will go up and down. Also, i have noticed that the window takes a little longer to go up than the passenger side. Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is? thanks

Lube the door tracks to help the slow windows, as for the one that stops half way in auto, it may be the switch

do you think the switches need replaced or maybe a loose wire? and would i have to disassemble anything (besides the door panel) to lube the door tracks?

no i dont think its a loose wire if it happens every time. i cant remember excaticly how the switch works but the window stops working when it encounters resistance, current draw is raised because the window motor has to work harder to to push past the resistance. that raise in current draw is what switches it out of auto down. this all happens extreamly fast. It sounds like a switch to me. it still may not be, I can be wrong. but its the only thing that makes sence. As far as lubeing the tracks, door panels, then the moisture barrier, and you should be golden
