On my way home with my new Fridge....

I have had my share of old Fords, but this is my first Fridge! I have never seen so many people pull up beside my truck to give me the Thumbs up. It is a 1959 F250 Flareside. I must say it is pretty tough looking. I think this bodystyle is so rare that when people see it they love it. Thrse are really cook trucks. I picked mine up in Sonora, CA, and I am on my way home to Kentucky. We don't have anything this old where I live. What about everyone else's Fridge stories?

I am towing it behind my F350. It gives you a good feeling when you come up on Kansas City and a whole pack of Harley riders pull up in the lane beside you and ALL give the thumbs up! Tgat was lije 20 bikes! I didn't receive this much attwntion when towing my 67 Mustang Convertible home from Panama City.

We know you're taking lots of photos so you can post 'em when you get home - right?
All of my friends (2) throw verbal stones at my '57. One of them told the other "How much money do you think he'll have to put into it before someone would want to haul it off?"

Yes it works. Cool truck! Hope you get home safely. Sounds like a fun trip. I took the family on a road trip last year and KY was one of our stops, we had a great time. Thanks for the pics.

Definately looks like a fun time. I really like pic #6 showing the contrast.

It is so great to see these trucks getting the attention they deserve!

GB Sisson will be drooling over this truck! Of course he would want to make it better!

I really like the wood racks just as they are! They look fragile making the truck look even tougher!

I hope you took all that in fun. We had been 'out for the evening'.....and also I think I've chopped up my truck enough already, not really needing 4wd in my 'show truck', but I love yours. Is it a ford built 4x4? and one more question. Where are you now on your trip?
