Went to school @ (then) USL, then lived in Lafayette for a long time, played LOT's of ball out at Pelican Park

What an rv park - WAY too many folks (kids) crowded into one place....
thank goodness we chose the premium lakeside site and the triangle right across from it...

park even had power issues with low voltage which created issues for some of the motorhomes in our group... won't go back

2100 miles towing and 7000 miles total (so far !)

about to put another couple hundred towing this weekend...

 

Hey If you like secluded nice Campgrounds try South Toldeo Bend State Park, Its one of my favorite camping spots in louisiana, Fresh black top roads all throughout the park. Nice and level sites water is pretty clear and has a beach for the kids.
