Adding a TPM to a rim
I have the old rims that came on the truck when I bought it and wanted to put them back on with summer tires. The problem is the TPM's are not on the rims so I thought about buying another set of four to put on these rims so I dont have to break the other set down. Anybody have any idea what would be involved in making the new ones work? Do you have to take them to the dealer to get it programmed or is it something you can do yourself?

I hade bought a set of 20's to replace my 18's and i bought another set of tpms (oem ) from ebay for $160 had them mounted and the truck reconized them right away light came on on first start for about 30 secs went out and has not been on again ...i still have the other set in tact for summer or whenever use .... So no trip to dealer no reprograming ...Nada ...
