Brand new to truck hobby.

Hey guys! I am new to this hobby, but have had plenty of old cars. I picked up a real ugly one, last night. A 1960 f100. It is going to be a mud truck, for now.
The body, is actually in good shape, but that is the only original thing about it.
It sits on a jeep chassis, with a Cadillac engine, th 400 transmission, Dana 60 rear, Chevy steering column. Pretty ugly, for sure! But, at least it isn't getting crushed. I will post pics shortly, tonight or tomorrow.

Welcome to the site. Sounds like you might not have too many Ford questions. Enjoy your new truck.

I will post pictures as soon as I can. Been a crazy day working.
What makes the truck ugly? Well, it is a purists nightmare, for one thing.
It was originally a dark green, but now is kind of green/ gray primer, with some blue thrown in for good measure. It is lifted about three feet, has seats from a s10 pick up, a cracked door window, broken hood ornament, slick *** mud tires,
and no exhaust.
ugly just about sums it all up. But I think it has potential.

Also, I may have questions, sooner or later.
I'm glad I found this site!

You have to put the photos on photobucket, flicker, or another site like those. Then copy and paste the image code onto your post.

Oh, welcome to FTE!
