Yo Pat!

So it seems to me that you're going with a modern drivetrain in your '67. What's the scoop on that 390? Is it looking for a new home?

He must be busy. I don't know how he can keep that #1 slackmaster status since he hasn't replied and it's been 3 hours!!!

I mean, come on! I'm a field mechanic that works on combines and I have time to drop in and post (harass Pat mostly)

Sorry for the delay Jake! Like Neil said, I'm going with the 351W for the 67. I'm going to keep the 390, probably for a Fairlane, after the 67 is done. Tell you what, though. If I change my mind, you'll be the first one I contact if I decide to sell the 390. I can't remember what year the block is, but it's got the beefier bottom end, and GT heads.

OK, sounds good Pat. And if you need someone to build it or need some advice on what to do I am more than willing to share what I've done to make mine run. I'll even build it for you for a case or three of beer....

I'll certainly keep that in mind, Jake! Never know, maybe I'll find that elusive 427 that I've been wanting!
