As I sat and read this article, I kept saying to myself "Yep thats right" "I agree"
If I didn't know better, I'd say I wrote that myself! Thanks John for the reminder of why we take on these old rusted hulks and transform them into a passion that drives us. My oldest son and I have had some great quality time together pulling and replacing parts.

And here I thought Iwas the only one going through all that...!
Project "convert glide style sportster to springer" is currently at Item number 5 with the addition of Headlight and mount...
Started out as an idea 10 years ago, started out as a actual project last year...
Famous last words:
"Gee ....How hard could that be??"...
It REALLY makes ya appreciate the time/money/energy that people put into their custom/resto projects
