Hey everyone. I need some help. Its a long term goal, but I've really been thinking about it. I plan on getting a 3 inch body lift for the truck and I want to get bigger tires for my truck. I wanna get some nice off-road/on-road rugged lookin tires for my F150. Any ideas? Bridgestone has nice ones but im kinda confused on the right size I should get for a 3 inch lift. If I left the tires on that I have now with a 3 inch lift, they would not look good at all. The standard tire size for my truck is: P265/60R18SL for anybody that can calculate the perfect transition size for the 3 inch lift. Please help me out?

 

I recommend Nitto Trail Grapplers. They are an awesome tire and should go well with your truck.

With a 3" body lift (not something I recommend) but you could put on some 295/70/18's which fall just under 35".

 

just a side question....... what should fit under with a 2" leveling kit 08 scab xlt 4x4?

 

With a little bit of trimming you could put the same thing but I would stay more in the lines of a 33" tire like what I am currently running.

terra or trail grappler are two good choices, Bfg, and Michelin A/T 11. I personally run the the Michelins and I have 75k on them and willprobablty go another 10 easily . But im a Michelin tire dealer for 50 years so I have to ask out the favor know what I mean. Need any question on any tire Igot it . Thanks David

Any good tire today is going to cost a bit especially if you want them to be bigger. There are some budget tires but there but not something I recommend.

 

I've got a 2.5" Rough Country leveling kit on mine. Got it perfectly level and I threw on some 33" Toyo M/Ts. The tires are really aggressive looking, but you pay for it with the price (around $400 ea).
