The Mtn. Bolt = 93, 4X4, F150 Flare Side, 351W, and 2.1l Kenne Bell Supercharger

I hope it qualifies for this sub-forum.

Desktop Dyno 2000 power curves for this build. DD 2000 is 13% optimistic, so about 430ftlbs of torque and 350 horses at the Flywheel.

The build so far: Roller 351W, 2.1l Kenne Bell Flowzilla Twin Screw Blower at 7lbs of boost, Lightning lower intake, World Products Windsor Sr. heads (200cc int. run 2.02int 1.60exh.), Crane roller cam 364215 (Lobe center 112, duration 260int 270exh .445int & .470ex) Comps Rollin' rockers, Mass air conversion, 90mm Lightning MAF, 42lb inj., 75mm Accufab throttle body, 10" Cone filter, BBK in-line 50gph fuel pump, JBA stainless shorties, Bassani Stainless "Y" pipe 3", Flowmaster 70 series with 18" Magnaflow glass pack, TwEECer tuned FLY1/AHACA Truck EECIV for engine and Transmission/E4OD Management.

I have spun the stock torque converter clutch but have a Punisher E4OD Transmission Precision - Stallion triple clutch torque converter with about a 2,200rpm stall on the way! I am also embarrassed to say that it has a stock 31 spline 8.8 rear end.

I need a stronger carrier with traction device and probably some alloy shafts. What do you all suggest?

No need to answer my question unless you want to comment. I have chosen a Yukon Dura Grip Posi, Yukon alloy shafts, and have a master install kit coming...........

I don't think that any body is on this forum(crickets chirping)
But I think its a great build. Throttle body is a little small, a nice big single blade or a double 65MM would really flow. Do you have a tuner? If you don't I would say your estimate on power might be a little low. And a good tune from a reputable tuner might make it really Rock.
And you have Headers. Long tubes would be the best, but shorty's work good too and the 3'' pipe is great ( that's what I'm runn'in) as SC motors respond very well to freed up back pressure on that side. Lotta air/fuel in, lotta exhaust out! I have a Lowered '01 F-150 with a transplanted L-motor/trans in it and a few small bolt ons and a home port. 410HP/510ftTQ
So I cant answer your 4X shaft questions. Oh and I'm new to this forum
Looks good,
John

Looks good,

It's Tweecer tuned and a bigger t-body might help some, but it makes the power down low and is done by 5,000rpm.

Yer rig sounds fun as well!

Thanks!

I'm not familiar with Tweecer. Is it a programmer?
Yea mine is fun,and like yours Torque down low is insane. Also like yours mine is pretty much done by like 5,2-5,400rpms.
I haul around 800-900lbs around in tools 24/7 so the low down tq is great to get things rolling and also for traction! He HE He
Sports bikes, Rice burners just dont stand a chance
Id like to know a little more about Tweecer. If you dont mind. Always trying to learn something new

I got the tranny in and it hammers the gears! WJW! The new tranny/torque converter is awesome! I went back to the stock calibration for TV pressure before I tried it, glad I did, it shifts plenty snappy without additional pressure. I can catch second gear, Errrk!

The brake stall before was about 1,800rpm, then the rear brakes would loose and tire spin ensued. Now it is about 2,300rpm. I hear it wind-up a bit more before I go.

I can only launch slowly with or without tire spin, but timed a 7.5 in the 0-60. I had 7.8 before the tranny/TC change and tune. Now If I can get the rear end done it should launch better, maybe gain another .2 seconds. This is at 5,400' south of Littleton CO. That leaves 16-20% of the power out of the equation because of the thinner air and less oxygen.

This thing gained a pound of boost! I was getting about 7lbs and now with this torque converter it's 8lbs!

Very nice ride.

The stock 31 spline axles can support plenty of power. I still run them in mine with an Eaton LSD.
