FINALLY!! Bigger tires! With Pics!!

I finally got some bigger tires on Ol' Grumbly. Just in time, too!

Post #8736 on pg. 583 of https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/6...rucks-583.html is the official debut of "Grey Poupon" as Nick, or 77GrnPeppah refers to it as.

However, I saved one Very "special" picture just for my Nebraska Chapter Brethren.

This is Grey Poupon and The Green Peppah hangin out at Nicks while we ruin the peppah's 400M. That's Nick cheezin in between the two.

Also, just because I like the picture, here is one of infamous (at least in my circle of close friends) Tweetie Bird.

Enjoy, and HAPPY SNOW DAYS NEBRASKA!!

Oh, let's not forget Nick's neighbor's truck. Plus, his other neighbor has newish F-350. However, that guy may be a few beans short of a jar because he has a $uburb@n, too.

RUIN the 400!? Please... I've been massaging it ever since that day. Today, I will find out if I FINALLY fixed that intake manifold leak...what a pain in the gass...

slowly yet surely redrobin...lol

OH, to those who weren't aware, Tyler mounted those tires himself! Quite neat on how the starter fluid works in sealing the tire to the rim. I have video of it being done. Can we post video? I'd like to post them if we can. Worst case scenerio, I may have to utilize Youtube.

I've seen a few guys do that, mounting tires with flame! Pretty cool how that works. I think you can post Youtube video's, Nick, I've never done it myself.

Oh, and the leak lost!! Finally after 2 tries I got it to seal.

It's sad now that I know by heart the bolt pattern, bolt size, and torque of the 400 intake manifold...

Yeah, Ol' Tweetie Bird was a boss. Unfortunately, due to my current state in life, I don't have the time or resources to do a resto like your bump, and that thing was way more trouble than it was worth. About a month or two ago, I saw the guy that bought it had it on C-list again. I texted him and he said the same thing. He doesnt have the time or money for the thing. It's too bad though. She had potential.

On a side note, in highschool I had a bump like yours with the 300-6. Not nearly as nice as yours. The frame was about 4 inches lower in the middle, and I dont think it had a single drop of oil or coolant in it for years.

What's he asking for it Tyler? It's driving me nuts not being able to work on mine right now, but with our house being on the market, I had to clean the garage out, including the cab. I'm hoping it sells soon, so we can move, and I can bring it back home in time for the warm weather!
