Valley pan Turbo grommet

My TURBO gasket set has a standard (CDR) valley pan grommet which is way too large for the turbo version.

First off: does this area of the valley pan see any/much pressure? I believe the extension off of the turbo housing/mount is just a drain-back, isn't it?
I'm trying to find the old valley pan I took off which has the correct grommet but so far: no luck.
Are the valley pans different or is it just the grommet?

THANKS GUYS!

ATS sells the valley pan grommet in a kit with the turbo drain orings etc. Its important to have a good seal there in case you ever have water sit in the valley or a fuel leak otherwise it will drain all that straight into the engine.

Oil will leak out if there is not a good seal there(ask me how I know). When you do it, make sure you dry the area with brake parts cleaner and then use copper RTV on the grommet.

If you are using the later 093 system Dorman part number 42344 works just fine. I believe the 088 system uses the stock grommet.

The existing grommet is big enough for a N/A motor's CDR. I think my turbo system is the 093.

So is it normal for oil to be forced back out of the grommet? I in the process of doing a head of job on mine. I've removed the turbo (leaving the open grommet) now I'm getting oil filling the pan when the truck is running. So there should be a liquid tight seal there?
