I have a 534 and MT42 allison auto out of a fire truck with approximately 27,000 miles on it. It currently has the cartridge type oil filter and i'd like to install a later spin on filter. Does anyone know what the part number is for the spin on oil filter housing, and was it used on any of the other engines other than the super duty engines? Thanks!

 

if u use a Napa filter it part number is1515 what kind of oil do u use

 

I have one new in box. I found it for a friend then they sold truck. This part is obsolete from Ford. PM me if you want to buy it.

 

Craig, I'd be interested in that adapter assm,
I have a '76 800 series, and find myself carrying around a 3/4" quick wrench for times when the gasket begins to leak on the cartridge type.
