I am getting ready to replace my faulty abs control module. The service manual says to remove the HCU to replace the module. I want to know if there are any tricks to remove the module without having to disconnect the HCU so that I don't have to get the HCU bled.

Tonight I was look in the engine compartment and I was thinking that I could remove the driver side headlight and then cutting an access hole through the steel panel behind the headlight.

Any ideas??
