2 main differences are the custom cabs have key locks on both sides(not just the passenger side). The other is the "Custom Cab" logo on the doors. There might be some other options available but those are the only real differences.

I thought the cc's got the chrome grill, door handles, door emblems, and gauge panel.

Custom cab had a different steering wheel, usually white with a horn ring instead of just a horn button. Also the seat upholstry was different, and there was chrome trim in the windshield and rear window gaskets. This is along with the already mentioned driver side lock cylinder and custom cab logos.
I think the big back window could be ordered on both standard and custom cab, as well as the chrome grille.

Thanks for all of the help, I am currently stationed in Kings Bay Georgia and live in Florida, I am currently having it shipped from Colorado from my father and I will be starting on the truck soon, just trying to get as much info as I can on it.

1960 Custom Cab Package.

The Standard Catalog of Light Duty Ford Trucks / by John Gunnell / Krause.com / ISBN: 0-87349-411-3

Custom Cab package included multi colored woven saran seat upholstery in striped pattern with vinyl bolsters and seat facings.

Foam rubber padding in seat cushion and backrest. White splatter pattern hardboard on headliner and side boards of panel trucks.

Sound deadener on floor of drivers compartment, insulation on firewall.

Two tone paint on instrument panel and inside of doors. Left armrest, white steering wheel with chrome horn ring. Chrome trimmed instrument cluster, bright metal (chrome) grille and headlamp assembly.

Bright metal windshield reveal mouldings, Custom Cab nameplates on door sides, matched locks on both doors (right/left door lock cylinders).

Also listed in this book are many of the options and accessories, historical data and other fall-der-all.

I also have the 1956/57 & 1957/60 parts catalog listings of all the optional accessories including their part numbers.

No such thing, the hood is the same for all 1959 F100/600 Standard & Custom Cabs. 1959 F700/1100 Standard/Custom Cabs used a different hood.

So, you may have the "wrong" hood on your truck.

1957/58 is the same, 1959 was originally ** one year only, as was 1960.

1960: There were two different front hood emblems: One was 6 3/8" wide, t'other was 7" wide.

These trucks are over 50 years old, have had multiple owners. Accidents, rust have taken their toll and peeps tend to swap parts around.

** For many years, peeps had to install 1960 hoods on 1959's, because that was all that was available from Ford.

In September 1959, Ford obsoleted both of the 1959 hoods, replaced them with 1960 hoods for use as Service Part Replacements.

Hood

Sorry, but I will have to disagree. I have had 3 custom cabs and one standard cab. One was a one owner truck with original paint. Got to cjcool.com there are plenty of pictures with the hood difference.

Lookin' at trucks years after the fact proves nothing, neither does lookin' at a one owner truck. Do you know its complete history since the day it rolled off the assembly line? Prolly not.

Parts catalog originally listed one hood for 1959 F100/600's: B9C-16612-A

According to your info, Ford would have offered FOUR different 1959 F Series hoods: One for F100/600 Custom Cabs, another for F700/1100 Custom Cabs.

Still another for F100/600 Standard Cabs and still another for F700/1100 Standard Cabs. This makes no sense at all and there is no parts catalog ref for any such thing.

If it doesn't make any sense, it isn't true...it's as simple as that.

Have any FoMoCo reference material, or books like the Standard Catalog or the Ford Truck Chronicle that show actual factory photos? Prolly not, but I do...I don't see a bit of difference in 1959 F100/600 hoods.

And, since I was a Ford partsman from 1962 thru 1997, I was selling parts for these trucks when they were only a coupla years old. Were you in the autobiz during this time? Prolly not

Post a picture of your hood so it can be identified and you can quit arguing.
