Exhaust Manifolds 60 Ford
I would like to put dual exhaust on my 60 Ford F100 it has the stock single exhaust on the 292 3 on the tree...What are some options I have?
Headers, ram horns or is there another exhaust manifold that I could use? Also will some of these options block me from working on the engine itself...Any help would be great Thanks Mark
PS more questions will be coming as start my project...

As you stated - Ram horns, headers, or as was frequently done ,use two right-hand manifolds, capping the holes for the cross-over tube. This leaves the exit facing the front of the truck on the drivers side. Then have an exhaust shop bend a sweeping "goose-neck" bend to wrap down, under, and towards the rear.It works, though it's a bit hillbilly to me.I could never bring myself to do that, and waited till I had the money for headers, then ramhorns.Oh,wait, - aren't about 90% of us Hillbillies? In that case, you may be good to go........LOL

I thought the T-Bird manifolds wouldn't clear on our trucks. Im not sure where i read that but something about the steering box or the frame or something. Maybe it only applies to 4x4s. Im planning on running Rams Horns on mine since last i check they were being offered aftermarket and would last longer than headers.

The ram heads will be a good choice.Unlike many reproductions, the quality is there.
I ended up finally using the hardware from these guys, they were nearby, friendly and top quality:

A direct phone call got me just the exact length needed, one not available at that time, in the kits sold through retailers. They sent them out the morning I ordered them, had them in-hand the next day.

This thread is a bit old, but was wondering if anyone had any clarification on these statements (below)? There wasn't a definitive answer/reply.
Will the 55/57 Tbird exh manifolds fit without interference on a 272 F100?
...or any stock passenger Y-block for that matter. I'd like to keep the stock look for my F100 without the crossover pipe.
