Toy Man looks like you've got a 4.9 so I don't have much info for you. But for those w/302s and 351s the Saginaw swap is the ticket IMO. Much better pump, much quieter. Any van w/either small block should have the bracketry you need. Most of my info is for serpentine equipped vehicles, however. I think any van from '87-95ish should have the appropriate bracket for an '87-95ish truck with the 302 or 351. It's pretty much a bolt-in swap. I'm told v-belt people can do this too from a v-belt van but I'm not certain.
I've noticed lighter steering action and greatly reduced noise.

For what it's worth. I have owned my 4.9L F150 since I drove it off the dealer lot (4 miles on the odometer)in 1994. It has always made a straining sound when taking wide turns. The gent who lives across from me has a 1988 F150 and his is even louder. I have never had a leak or failure in mine (nock wood) and I just think Ford power steering pumps are loud....I have learned to accept it.

I'll sell you the stock pump and bracket as pictured on the left. That pump's a brand new ATSCO rebuild from Autozone, and it was loud as hell IMO. It would come w/the bracket as I'm not gonna pull the pulley. Flat $50 including shipping. The Sag pump on the right is on my truck, you can't have that one!

Ford's power steering pumps are known to be loud. My sisters 92 thunderbird was loud, my other (dont have it anymore) 95 F-150 was loud, my dads 88 F-250 is loud, and my new 95 F-150 is loud. The only thing you can do is make sure the fluid is full, and just live with it unless you want to replace it.
Primary rig is Green Thunder:
95' F-150 XLT 4x4, 302, 5 spd, MSD 6A, Flowmaster Exhaust, Sunroof, Clear corners w/ Diamond headlights, CD player with 2 10" subs and some 32" BFG Muds .
Thats it for now, saving for a stang. Check out my Gallery for a look-see.

Honney, I saw your post on the ps swap. I have a few questions though. Which belt and pump hoses do you use? I'm guessing the hoses from the van. Are the 302 and 351 brackets from the van the same? I've located the assembly from a 91 van with 302. It would be going in an f150 351. It would be cheaper for me to do the conversion than to buy a rebuilt slipper type. My old pump is on its way out, so i'm considering the swap. Thanks

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 03-Oct-02 AT 10:20 PM (EST)]TDean, for the hoses there's lots of ways to do it but the high pressure hose from the van and stock low pressure hose will work.... of course the low pressure hose is pretty simple, just some ps hose from Autozone and a couple of hose clamps. Yes, the 302 and 351 brackets are the same.
Go get that setup from your '91 van, it'll drop right in and you won't be sorry!
EDIT: stock serpentine belt will work fine, just be sure you get the serpentine pulley w/your Sag pump.
