The only way to discover how many 1967 Ranchero's GT's were assembled with 390's, is to contact martiauto.com. 289's & 428's were also available.

Marti has all the original FoMoCo records for 1967/79 vehicles, so he has the info.

But, it's not free, there's a charge for Marti's services, known within the hobby as a Marti Report.

Closest number I came up with was from a book on Ford Rancheros by Classics Motorbooks. They show 9504 of the Model 66B, the 500 but don't break it down by motor size. Total sales of 17,243 so not many made at all.

Most ended up wrecked or junked after the owners gave up trying to keep front ends and rear tires on them.....

Rare enough if it's in good shape. Good luck with it.

There was no GT500. It is either a Ranchero GT or a Ranchero 500. And, ND, there was no 428 available in any shock tower car in 1967.

The three I see listed are the Ranchero , the 500 and the 500 XL, no GT.

1967 Ranchero Body Styles: 66A = Ranchero / 66B = Ranchero 500 / 66D = Ranchero XL (with bucket seats).
