how to remove an ignition lock cylinder
#2
Hope you have the key. Place the key in and turn it left to acc, push a paper clip into the little hole and continue turning it left til its flat, then pull it out.
Next with one hand on the bezel reach under the dash and push the switch assembly towards you compressing the spring and twist it counter clock wise until it releases. | <--

On my my ignition switch, I first unscrewed the front round plate from the switch assembly and the entire assemble comes out--mine was not spring loaded. Reach behind the dash and gently pull out the assembly and then disconnect it. Then as John mentioned, insert key turn left to the acc position, insert clip into small hole, turn more left until horizontal and pull out the lock cylinder. I guess you can remove the lock cylinder without having to remove the assembly from the dash. It's just the way I did it so I could be more careful.
