Wifes '02 Sport Trac has a couple of burnt out instrument panel light bulbs. No big deal to change...I thought!

Got Owners manual out and it said to go to the dealer. Got on the 'net and watched some videos where they were using p/n 194 bulbs.

Wife went to the dealer and came home with some tiny bulb stuck in a plastic holder.... for $7...

Its no 194 bulb...what the heck???

I dont want to tear up the dash only to find I dont have the correct bulb.

So gang what do I need?

el cheapo 194 bulbs of the $$$$ Ford super speicial bulbs????

caseys: Thanks. I did check the 'net and found that the bulbs people were using were 194s. But when the wife went to the dealer they sold her a tiny bulb stuck in a plastic holder.

Thats my problem... I dont want to buy a bunch of 194s, tear open the instrument panel only to find out I needed the tiny bulbs in a plastic hold...... on this SUNDAY afternoon.

caseys. Thanks. The bulb the wife brought home from the dealer is alot smaller than the 194s I found at Walmart.

I think Im going to open up the dash and find out what I have.
