Low tire pressure warning

I rotated my tires a few weeks ago and forgot to reset the TPMS so it gave me the low tire warning. Reset it, everything was fine for a little while. Then the low tire pressure warning popped back up. I checked the tire pressure, and it was low, so I pumped all 4 up to 68 and the warning won't go away. Do I have to reset the TPMS again? Or does the system just take a while to detect the new pressure?

I had to drive my truck about 5 miles for the message clear in the information screen. I have never had a problem after rotating my tires. I keep 60 pounds in the rear and 65 in the front when not towing. I have 18 inch tires.

Rather than mess with it. I just run the tires up to Max prssure (80psi) and run around the block and chase an errand or two, Then lower them to what ever pressure I want to run at.

If you are setting them close to the trigger point for the TPMS ( I think 62 psi) remember to set the pressure when the tires are the coldest.

I have put probably 60 to 70 miles on it since I pumped up the tires and the message is still there. They were at 60 psi, I pumped them all up to 68 after the truck sat all day, but the message still shows up. Driving me nuts!

Inflate them to the MAX pressure to reset them. 68psi isn't high enough.

I went through this the other day after a tire rotation for the 18 inch Conti's.
Alert is 62 and 68 doesn't cut it as Painted Horse said.
I didn't take mine to max but that's the best route so you spend less time messing with the crazy things.
