December-Merry Christmas-End of the Year Thread

I hope everyone gets exactly what they want for Christmas. Its been a strange year for many of us. Count your blessings & give thanks as well as gifts.

I'd like to encourage every member to post up holiday wishes this month.

Well its time to spend money, CHRISTmas. I have been blessed this year, family - health and a new set of freinds I don't have to see much (FTE). I hope everyone has a great CHRISTmas. I hope we can get together soon and let DAVID buy us a beer and talk. I think the chapter leader (David) should get us something nice. LOL

Sounds good David. I had a hell of a day. I spend the day with the IRS. It was wonderfull to watch our government in action. They are going back to 1999. I dont know if I was living in 99. SO HOW WAS YOUR DAY ?

Howdy Mississippi Ford Folks! Been a while since I checked in here. Had a lot of things keeping me busy, but the Blue Oval is a callin'. 'Sposed to pick up a running 302 and C-4 this Saturday for my old '68.

Philip! If you listnin' . . . hope to deliver a worn out Cleveland to you in the Ol' Red Ford next spring.

I ain't gonna pretend I can remember the names of y'all I had lunch with a couple years back in Jackson. And I ain't gonna hold against you fellas for not remembering me. I didn't get settled in here with you guys 'til I got sidetracked. I was here just long enough to see that this looks like I pretty good group.

Anyway, I'm gonna try to get my old '68 F100 back on the road again. Prolly have a few questions and will definantly keep y'all posted with pics and progress reports.

Hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas! . . . and remember why we're celebrating!

Mitch

Funny how quick time can get by you. Saw you guys in '09. Since then I've cleaned up a house place after a fire, bought a dirt pan and re-graded the house place, drawn up plans for a new house - then bought a house, fixed up the new house and moved in, . . . bout the time we got settled again, a tornado nearly got us. Never a dull moment around here.

Some where in the middle of all that, I sold the wreck you guys saw, and three two other parts trucks. Let a lot of good parts go in those trucks. Got back down to my old '68 F-100 and a '78 F-250. Been using the F-250 around our place and I'm headed to north Mississippi Saturday to pick up a running 302 and C4 for the '68.

Hope the next time I get together with you guys I'm driving a Ford!

Heck, I thought you lived in north MS! Almost to Oxford, right?

Any way, glad you're holding it together. Sounds like its been a chore.
