1999 F-250 Fuel Pump issue.. relay or fuse?
Hey guys, my fuel pump isn't running and I can't start the truck. I just checked the voltage at the pump connector. I only got a 4.6 volt reading from one wire. I checked the inertia switch and it wasn't tripped.
I'm assuming there's an issue with the fuse, inertia switch, or relay. My truck did not come with an owners manual so I cannot locate the fuel pump fuse. Does anyone know which fuse it is? My fuse panel is located under the steering wheel.
I've heard the relay is behind the radio, is there anything I should know about taking the radio out to access it?
Would appreciate any help..

Just figured that out. Thanks for the help.
I don't see a black one but I'll keep looking. Is it behind the radio as well? According to the manual is says its in location #33.
Moreover, I just checked the green wire going into the Inertia switch and it also has 6.4 volts. Does this verify that its a relay issue?

Unfortunately Ford does not have the 99' f250 SD owner manual on their site .. I've lookeds through all the other manuals for similar trucks, but cant seem to find any that have the same relay/fuse setup. My relays start from #301 up under the steering column. I only found one full relay under the hood, with 2 half relays sharing the same box...
Any help? I'm desperate, as I need to move truck by tomorrow...
Thanks

Carltonwebb- Thank you, but I just got it going.
After switching around all the relays many times, I finally was able to get the fuel pump running by pushing Relay 302 to the side. After it closed and opened a few times I was able to get it started while giving gas . All seems well now. I guess it must have been corrosion on the relay socket terminals?
Will have to see how long till it happens again..
Wish I knew all this before I pulled my radio and broke the retaining clip.
