Post Up Pipe Exhaust leak

I have a leak where the Up Pipe connects to the Y Pipe, on the drivers side.

From what I have been able to find on the net, the best long term solution is the International Bellowed Up Pipe Assembly. This eliminates the original "donut gasket" which is the alleged problem.

Does anyone know of any other aftermarket Up Pipe / Y Pipe assemblies that would eliminate the stock "donut gasket"?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome to FTE. Yes, David Lott at Diesel Innovations makes a custom up pipe configuration that eliminates the donut gasket. 7.3l Stainless Up-Pipes

It's also possible to get different up pipes when you upgrade to certain turbos.

The cheapest option is to just go with the International up pipes from one of our sponsors, unless you have a brother in law that works for International.

There's not a whole lot of room on the pricing on those, but if you're a member of the NRA, he'll give you a 5% discount.

The DI's have very nice fit and finish.

If you are the type that enjoys fabbing your own stuff you could add bellows to your pipes or another set with some vibrant 400055S bellows, although it will not replace the baby's butt joint, it will allow for proper expansion.

Don't bother calling DI. If you look at the link Chris posted, it shows out of stock and has for a couple of years. I talked to David at DI last year and he said they will never be back. He is just keeping that page as a place holder till he can develop a new design. There were some flaws with that one.

Call Riffraff and order the IH up-pipes. Several of us have done the research and you won't find a better price. Riffraff Diesel: International Bellowed Up-pipe Kit 99.5-03

And welcome to FTE!
