1962 ford p/u unibody

I have replaced the orginal 6 cyl. 3 spd with a 289 . c-4 a/t and want to use the orginal column , by replacing some of the m/t parts with a/t parts. should be simple. LMC TRUCKS seems to have the necessary stuff. can it be done?? if not does anyone have a stock a/t column for sale? thanks tricky1948

Sorry for the delay on you question. I am currently using my three speed column to work an automatic transmission. The tranny is hooked up the reverse and first. You dont have the indicator but with feel it works out. The detents on the transmission are sufficent to tell you where your at. Mine has a two speed jetaway tranny so having a
C-4 may be a little different.
