Cause it's 7 pages and I've been working on it since about 1am and have 2 pages done. Never gonna get it done otherwise... and it's 30% of my grade like the last one was.

Plus at this point I might as well just stay up 2 more hours and find out whether we have any classes tomorrow.

I thought so. Not really a fan of the thing... hence why I'm on here. I'm really hoping for no afternoon classes today and no morning classes Wednesday.

if there are no afternoon classes today i will be driving up to springfield to get my long lost quad motor that i dropped off in august when i broke my back. I sent it out to be rebuilt, but never had the time or money to go get it until now, assuming we have no classes at all today

Here's hoping... we'll know for sure in about an hour and a half.

I emailed the professor that I'm writing this paper for about whether he wants it emailed in the event of no class or what. It's a Tuesday-Thursday class and he's out of state and cancelled Thursday's class.

Writing this now just in case. I see lights on outside but I'm not sure if those were on when I got here or not. Hoping they were....

Kyle: I have power at home, CCSU has enough power to turn a few lights on and power the dorm and cafeteria but not enough to turn on the lights in all the academic buildings as far as I'm aware. When I got here around 10:30 there was the distinct hum of generators.

Glad you at least have something, my friend in southington practically doesn't even have cell service! My dad was saying something about 500,000 customers without power in ct, and something like 30" of snow farther up towards new hampshire!

Yeah I believe Aaron said in the October thread that there were 200,000 more line incidents from this than from Irene.

Lots of folks without power still.

The lines to our shop are intact, but damaged. A tree fell on them but didn't break them. It pulled the lines down to where you could reach up and grab them from the ground and tilted at least a half dozen poles probably closer to 8 or 10 poles affected in total. Who knows if they'll ever get fixed properly...

farmington, our neighboring town, has 98% of the residents without power. CCSU is being completely powered by generators right now. Ive been here since 5pm yesterday and nothing has changed, the only difference now is that they have an auxiliary generator powering the student center parking garage so people can get in and out.

Well in that case looks like I'm going to work again tomorrow. Woohoo!

PS: They're not bothering with the card reader at Welte garage and they're only using maybe 1/2 the lights.

Listening to my room mate snore as I continue to write my paper. And procrastinate on here..

Oh and about 20 minutes ago there was a couple loud drunks on the sidewalk yelling so I told them to shut up... don't think they even realized I said anything.
