Talking Md's November pull up a chair and chat thread

Oh boy, here we go. The year is just slamming by. I can't believe the weather we've had this year. Record hot, record rain, now record snow. I'm still rolling around on the "wheels" so there won't be any snow plow action, OR MONEY, for me this year. I'll be glad to sit here by the wood stove, and post. The surgery went well, and by the first of the year, they tell me I will walk again. Guess I'll have a HUGE honey do list saved up, eh?

On a more serious note, we've had a changing of the guard here in Maryland, Jr can finally take a break.

Jr took the chapter that was about to fall on it's face, and built it back up. I think we all need to stand, and bow to him, he did a great job, especially when you stop to consider that he is self employed, and many times, he barely walked in the house, and jumped right on the fte business. I'm pretty sure that his home life suffered at times because of it, so THANK YOU Jr!!!!!

(insert round of applause here)

well, without me boring you any farther, here is your new thread, Enjoy!!!!

Congrats on the promotion, Charlie!

Ya know, I have a wood stove, too, but am out of wood at the moment and so am using the natural-gas-powered thing until I can get myself in gear to go get some fuel.

Welcome to Maryland Chris!!!

Hmmm, I guess you better get busy on that firewood, so you can save some money for Black Friday, lol, I'd hate for you to miss out on any deals.
