Fuse Block?

Fuse Block?
Like baumst, my speedo lights don't work. But neither do my gauge lights, or my gauges for that matter, or my idiot lights.....Wouldn't be surprising on an old, long neglected truck, but all other electrical systems seem to work fine. My first problem is I cannot find the fuse block. Where did Henry Ford hide this thing?

From the other Steve (the 49er fan who's team is beating the Browns this weekend)
There is no fuse block. There are three embedded in the headlight switch. My problem is the wires are "live" I just don't know where they connect because they stop three inches from the headlight switch. I am pretty certain if I could connect the wire to the speedo lights, I would have power.

For the record my gauge lights work. The card board tube is missing on my oil side which is funny because in the sun it looks on so I have to cover it with my hand to see if it is really on. Used to be on when my oil pan leaked from time to time. The generator was by passed for the alternator so there are a number of dead wires in the engine choose not to mess with.
My headlight indicator and high beam indicator work great. My dome light will work if I turn the switch on the metal stem of the headlight switch.

Gary,if you are able to,pull each fuse,1 at a time, and test for continuity. If the fuses both test o.k., check to see that there is power to one side of each fuse-holder (when the lights are turned on and key is in on,or accessory position). If one side of the fuse holder is not showing voltage, you may have a bad headlight switch.

I can share the thread... seems I showed up here a couple weeks ago by hijacking someone else's about 8 lug conversions. What I need to know now is HOW do you remove the hl switch? The more I fool around with it, the less things work. I can feel 2 fuses, but I can't reach them or really see them. My fingertips lack a lot of feeling and dexterity because after 40 years in the woodworking profession, I've stuffed them into the sawblade a few too many times. And my eyesight's nothing to write home about either. So I remember on chevys maybe a button on the switch that you push in and the stem comes out of the hl switch. I can NOT find such a button. Braille method sucks when your fingertips stop working....Thanks in advance, G.
