what might cause rough idle?

Just wondering what would cause a rough idle... not super rough where i'm shaking or sputtering but just listening to it, it jumps around just slightly. I know I've had a problem with something for a while since I've been lacking power for some time now, just doesn't wanna move out of its own way. ICP was replaced about a year ago. Thoughts??

On a second note, I'm looking at a new cps. I understand the black cps is better, but on ebay only black ones found are for older rigs, 94-96... are these what I want? Will they work on mine? And whats the deal with the blue ones??

The New CPS will cause an odd Idle. Last time I looked Clay still had a few old ones. I had the old one throwing codes for injectors 8 and 2 or something dont remember it was awhile ago.

PO had my truck done recall they put grey cps.

1 1/2 years later now I notice rpm would jump about 100-200 when idle. It only doing that during rain It was little rough it like you had 1 weak injector not fire well.

When drive it cut off all times in rain. It go away when there no rain

I got new grey cps from diesel shop but notice it smaller than Ford one which is bigger.

I believe Clay and Guzzle are both out.

If you can find one, I think they are worth it, (It's #3 and #8, BTW) but still keep a spare in the glovebox w/ a 10mm wrench. (I do.)

You can also get them from International, just ask for a CPS for an "International T444E" NOT a Powerstroke, lol! I'd only use a Ford or International CPS.
