stop safely now

i was driving my 08 f350 6.4l diesel speed 50 km/h
when the stop safly now shows up at the massege center
then the vehicule slows down the gas pedale does not respond ,i stopped it turn it off then won't start again.after one hour i tried to turn it on it run for half an hour then the massege shows up again and the thuck slows down.....
does that happen to any one else ?
please let me know how did you fix that?
which part did you have to change?

That is a safety feature to protect the engine from more damage caused by a failure of some sort. Recommended action is to get it towed to a dealer for diagnosis and repair.Do NOT keep driving it with this condition.

Yep! Too broad a spectrum of possibilities! Have someone read the codes. That'll tell you more than we can with the generic information you have.

I'll echo the don't keep trying to start/run/drive it like that!

My work truck did the same thing. It was an EGT sensor bad. 20 minutes to change it after it had been towed to the dealer.

thanks everyone for the advises
after towing it to the dealer it was the egt sensors
good thing they are coverd by the warranty
