pre bent stainless brake lines

Has anyone ever taken a line set meant for a F100/F150 2wd and used it for a F350. No one seems to list a brake line set for anything other than a 1/2 ton truck. If someone has the time, I would appreciate it if they could let me know what the fitting sizes are, and there location on the proportioning valve of a F100/F150 2wd truck, so I can reference it with mine. I'm working on a 1975 F350 2wd crew cab. Thanks guys.

I'd say if the lines say they are meant for crew cab then I would say they would work. There are no 1/2 ton crew cabs so they must have been a typo on the site or mag or where ever your buying them. This is what I think maybe I'm wrong but If I am then its a bump to the top.

I bought a set from JBG. They are nice, but if i had to do it over again I would just buy a roll of stainless and make them myself. Would be alot cheaper and I think that I could make a cleaner looking install.

To do bend and to put sae inverted flare in stainless you are going to need a bender and double flare tool rated for stainless. The regular bender and flare tools don't cut the mustard. Stainless tubing is tuff stuff.

If you still have the originals, but they're just pitted or rusted through, you can send them in to Inline Tube and they can duplicate them.

fmc400 I thought about sending mine in but my proportioning valve is hanging out in space directly under the master cylinder, that just doesn't seem right, see this picture-
I didn't find any listings for F250 or F350, only F100/F150. The lines shouldn't matter that much, only diff would be 4x4 versus 4x2, mine is 2wd and the crew would just be a longer line to the rear the same as long WB vs short WB. Front susp would be the same configuration through F100-F350. I was just looking for some input on the fittings on prop valve and location of the valve, because I don't think ford put mine were it is(see above).

I too have worked stainless before and it does suck, your not going to do it with cheap flare tools, and Ive been told to not use tubing cutters because they make the stainless work harden.

Oh wow; you're right, that looks wrong. That's a custom job. The PV should not hang free like that. It should be bolted to the frame, with the lines tucked away neatly. I don't think duplication is the answer here. Sorry that I can't be more helpful.

Judging by the ford shop/parts manual the PV is in the right place its just missing the bracket that bolts it to the pwr steering box. Just as the diagram is marked any of you 74-76 F100/F350 guys (particularly the F100 guys) have a set up just like this. I checked my 78 F150 4wd and the port sizes are all the same between the two PV, the only diff. is the bleeder rod (F150 pull - F350 push in).

Just cruisin around on here and found this truck, a 76 F150 has the same configuration as mine. PV is under MC and above steering box. Shame for that truck at least they got to it before it spread to the body.
Trying to assess the damage:
