NJ law and blinkers

i know its illegal to have blue/white LED blinkers in NJ, but i have blinkers in my headlights and bar blinkers on my bumper. can i change the bumper blinkers to blue and keep the amber blinkers and still be ok?

nope. front must be amber, and rear must be red.
any blue lights on a vehicle at all without a permit is illegal, and if stopped you can be charged with impersonating a police officer/fire/emt .

granted, it is very rare that happens, but it can.

Tom, is right, stay away from Blue and keep the approved lights, unless it will never be driven on the road and used for shows.

And your so close to PA where Blue is Police only!

If I'm not mistaken, any kind of "strobe" is illegal on a non-municipal vehicle.

Though I'm going to violate that myself since I have four strobes to shove into the headlight/taillight housings. But, I don't intend to use them on the road and instead, only when parked at job sites.

Seems the extra visibility is necessary... not everyone can see a big white crewcab sitting in the sun and... drive into it.

Hell, I just want some really bright xenon strobes for the rear tailgaters.
