Favorite Fog Lights?

Mine don't do diddly.

I want some that do diddly....that make the road like daylight down there.

Any recommendations?

It is a tough job?

TIA

Piaa is my favorite, but you'll get comparable products from companies such KC hites and hella.

A couple quick things to notice on lamps, The lens should be glass. Plastics don't have the optical values glass does. The housing will last almost forever if it's Stainless, but quality powdercoat or chrome should last as long as you're going to keep your truck. The bulbs must be replace able, don't bother with anything that doesn't state what kind of bulb they take. H1 style is pretty common, but if you find an H4 that will have alot of options for wattage and hi/low beams. H4 is what was previously in most imports and widely used in motorcycles. I've seen h4 come as high as 140 watt low and 160 watt high beam. This is another reason glass lenses are important, once you get into the really high watt bulbs things start to melt.

I have heard really good things about light force, but they are pricey!!! I am looking at a set of Hella black magic, they look nice.

SilverStar Ultra Headlamps; for clear or rainy weather use hi-beams, mild fog low beams. Heavy fog I switch to DRLs. Just an incredible lamp, so bright you almost need sunglasses for the reflective signs. No on-coming drivers refuse to go to low beams, LOL. Don't let anyone tell you they produce more heat, and will burn up your sockets. They are the same wattages, as regular lamps, so more energy is going out as light, and there will be less heat energy produced.
