I bought it from a gentleman here in Colorado who had just purchased a farm. The truck came with the sale.
As far as I can tell the truck is all original. It is still 6v with the original flathead 6 and 4 speed transmission. The odometer has 85,00 miles on it and from talking to the PO I think they are original miles. The truck is in great shape for the year without the usual rust rot and missing pieces. There is surface rust.
It has a lot of dings and dents typical of a farm truck. The front grill was saved by a brush guard. It is off the truck and someone on this site said it was from a Ford tractor. It is included in the sale.
Also included is a Dana 60 axle with 4.10 gears from a 67-72 Ford F-250 and 5 wheels from an F2. I was going to swap out the widow-maker rims and the rear axle. The rims have been re-finished in semi-gloss black, but do not come with rubber. The axle and F2 rims are the same bolt pattern as the F3, and the Dana 60 measures the same width as original with the spring perches at the same location also.
I have rebuilt the fuel pump and carburetor in preparation to get it started. My next step was to drain and replace the oil and flush the radiator. I have a brand new replacement oil filter. It currently does not run. I have turned the engine over manually and it turns with no binding.
The tailgate has a grain door cut out of it. I got an F2 tailgate with good Ford script on it that I was going to patch it with. The F3 and F2 tailgates are different sizes, but the Ford script area is the same.
The instrument panel is in great shape from what I've seen of others on this site.
Pictures are in my album if you click on my profile.

If anyone wants any specific pictures I can take them and post them here.
I am asking $1800 for the truck.
This will make a great project and I am sad to see it go.
