Working on putting it all together one last time before paint. I have found a few conflicts that have to be worked out nothing major. I also added a corner and filler on the door for the door panel I have planned.
Nice 56 build I had not seen that one. I like the two tone. Does it run strong? The tilt hood kit is very well designed and I got it from a member here Kevin Stone. I think he has them posted in the for sale section. Im very pleased with the kit.
The tilt kit is from Kevin he has one on his truck and made up about ten for others. The kits is very simplistic and works excellent. Im very pleased with it and it has 4 way adjustment. Most of the chassis work was done by a friend, Joey Bell and crew at Bell Chassis works. Check them out online they build some killer stuff. We used a No Limit 4 link on the rear with 400# springs and narrowed the stock Lightning rearend 7 inches. The front is a No Limit wide ride with 500# springs. I have a Detail Zone harness for the engine management and used the stock pumps in a custom built tank.
I like the wooden bed Was it something you just worked out yourself, or some kind of a kit? I'm sure you had to cut out the old floor, but I would have thought the wood ( being thicker ), would not fit flush with the rest of the floor.
Thanks. Its all fabricated but not very difficult. This picture my help. My torque box was rusty so it was cut out along with the entire bed floor and a entire new floor was put in. It was built so the wood was flush. I plan to chrome the 2 inch strips and paint all the rest.
