I've crossed the USA by HIGHWAY so many times...
It began when I was young, because my fathers job called on him to travel around.
He was an Engineer in the Aerospace Industry
The cars we traveled in were amazing, because of his thinking as a long standing member of the SAE Organization. He never liked ordinary cars
At five years old (or thereabout) I first saw interstate highways from the inside of a 1957 Olds 88 with a 400 Rocket motor engine - travelling roads that are mostly gone now.
Is it any wonder that I love to drive and go see places?
