'08 Expedition auto power window

I had to replace the window regulator in my driver's door.
Everything went will, did the whole thing in a little over an hour.
The problem I have is that the Auto up stops about an inch short of closed. I can close it the rest of the way by holding the up button. Auto down works fine. Goes to the bottom and stops.
Is there a way to reset the Auto function so the window closes all the way?
Thanks for the help.

Hmm. Is it binding at all?

I am not sure there is a calibration for the newer trucks, there was for the older mustangs and F-150s. Maybe google that.

Thanks for the replies.
It's not binding at all. Window goes up and down fine.
It's just the auto function that doesn't work correctly.
I did google it and found one link that tells you to hit a button up and down sequence with the ignition on and off but that didn't work.

Hi, I'm new here, and starting by resurrecting an old thread...

I have exactly the same issue as actor76, and just wondered if there was ever a conclusion to this?

Sadly, I've already read that thread. I've now found three different initialization procedures. None of which have been successful.
I seem to have managed to de-initialize it, where 'one touch' has stopped working all together, but as yet, I'm no further forward...

Me too, no Auto function on 2008 Expedition

I seem to have de-initialized using the process given here: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...edition-2.html but no initialization. This is maddening Ford, this should be in the owners manual.
