Hi guys, I got a 2000 F350 and there was slop in the shifter. So I googled this problem and everyone said tighten the 2 torx. They were tight and still a sloppy shifter. So I visited ford and paid $60 for tube, plunger, and 2 bushings. No help lol.

Im convinced it has to be the cable. Any idea how to tighten this up at transmission? Any pics or advice is great!

Btw, shifting left to right is ok (P-R-N-D) but going the other way, right to left, is way off!
