It depends on what your working on.
Ii like Careys CCC salvage on S Eastern ave. Riverside salvage off sw 15th and macarthur is decent. Wilsons on sw 59th and Shields is Ford only. i like CCC and Riverside because you can go in the lot and find what you want, or they will find something for ya. Pull A Part on S 15th and sante fe is hit or miss depending on what your looking for...

I have a 1983 F-150 and recently went on a parts truck locating spree. I guess it all depends on what you are looking for. Carey's CCC was a very nice salvage yard, but they didn't really have much for my truck. Wilson's is hit and miss, depending on the year you are looking for, and Pull A Part tends to keep younger stock than what I have. I haven't tried Riverside yet or Rupperts off of I-35 (if they are still open).

In any case, if you find a good source of parts for early 80's trucks, let me know, would you?

Give riverside a shot, the guys can be rude but they usually have an older selection.

You aren't kidding about the rude part. I used to deal with them at the Fairgrounds Speedway and they weren't very sportsman like. LOL!

But, I will ignore that part and give them a try. Thank you!
