Ok heres the story 1994 ford f250 7.5 4x4 dual tanks I used both front and rear tanks regualrly than one day front tank stoped working fuel pump doesnt turn on when key is in the on postion now you can hear the rear turn on when switched to rear tank took off pigtail connector to front tank no power at all to tank took off swith in dash no power there either good relay and fuse funny thing is with swith turned to front fuel guage reads correctly switch to rear reads correctly Im stumped because oveiously Im getting power to the switch but checked wires at switch and cant get any power or at front tank but power to rear.

I replaced switch on dash today now I have power to the tank but fuel pump still doesnt kick on Im wondering if It might also be the fuel selector valve under the truck or just a bad fuel pump.

 

First off you do not have a fuel selector valve under the truck so I do not think that would be it.
I would guess the bad fuel pump took out the selector switch on the dash.

 

Thanks alot for the help Im going to try a new fuel pump and see what happens Ill keep you posted.

 

your not going 2 believe this 1992 ford f250 4x4 iv grown up playing in junk yards thought i new it all till now no power to the front or rear fuel tank every this is working right on the dash but cant hear eather pump pressure up checked relays well checked every thing even the safety switch on the right side passenger side it was the daRn ignition switch box on the steering column hope this will help some one DAve

 

That damn ignition switch fouls all kinds of things up.
