Wiring diagram for 2003 F350 7.3

That's not a diagram, it's a book you're asking for. If you need something specific, we might be able to help you out. If you want the complete wiring schematics, I'd suggest https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...s-members.html

Here is a version I keep on my site. It is for an '02 but should be identical for yours. I have bookmarked it into sections to make use easier.

Actually I'm just interested in what wiring and circuitry is fed from that fuse and why the owner's manual does not correctly identify what the fuse actually controls.

I also have some questions about wiring on my 2003 f350, but none of these 9 year old links work anymore... So, I'm late to the party again. Aft of the battery on the passenger side is a solenoid, appears to be a starter assist relay. on the battery side of this relay, are 2 pair of gray wires, about 14-12ga, always hot. One pair constantly draws .68 amp from my battery, all the time, except occasionally it jumps to over 1 amp, and something whirrs for a second or two. With this disconnected, I have no power to the key switch. I'm considering adding another relay for this circuit, so it is only hot when I turn it on. Is this a normal Ford trick???
