Ford rebuilt E4OD for sale!!!!!(SOLD)

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $1
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): S2000
Item Condition: NY
Engine: Part suitable for diesel truck

I have a E4OD transmission for sale, 15K on ford rebuild, I had it installed 2 years ago. I blew my first auto towing in the catskills, and I only towed twice with this tranny after with no problems at all, I finally went to a zf5 for towing reliability.

Please note: this is a Diesel bell housing and will NOT work for a gasser. It works for any 6.9 or 7.3 up to 1997.

This transmission is in top notch condition, shifts smooth and NO jerking, it was NOT in limp mode when I pulled it out. I have the torque converter, tranny, flexplate, crossmember, driveshafts, cooler lines, transfer case skid plate(different than manual skid plate), there is no transfer case included but a BW 1356 will work. I have PRACTICALLY EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO SWAP IN A E4OD!!!!!! Pics below, make a offer, every offer will be considered.

I also have a auto brake pedal assembly.

I would rather a pickup, I'm in NY, pm me for exact location.

I am interested in the trans. I have a 97 250 7.3 4x4 Are you sure that your trans will work for the 97? The trans just went out on my truck this past weekend and I dont have money nor do I want to put another new/rebuilt auto trans in.

I would really like to do the zf5 swap but need to the truck for work asap so I guess Im gonna have to just throw the an auto back in. I am a new member and I dont think I can PM yet so if you could email me and maybe we could work something out. dhawkiii@yahoo.com Thank you Dave

Dave, his trans will work for you.you'll just need to swap the solenoid body from your trans to his, along with your (or better yet,a new) torque convertor for your 7.3l psd.the idi's used a 4 stud, and your psd uses a 6 stud.
other than that,it's the same basic trans and a direct bolt up.
you wont be needing his flexplate in your case,so have him hold that for reduced shipping weight.

edit,
i was wrong.solenoid packs are not interchangeable due to not having diode protection if swapped.may still be possible, but you'd have to figure a way out to solve this.if even possible, may not be worth it.

thinking about it... I've got a superduty under heavy surgery right now, and my transmisison is slipping bad, but I'd need a new TC also since mine is a powerstroke. too many repairs are draining my account, and I'm not sure its worth it right now.
