Cleaning 5.4L throttle body

Hey all! I'm getting ready to clean the throttle body in my 98 expy 5.4 and I understand that there cleaners to use and not to use. Any suggestions?? I have a can of Deep Creep (product of Sea Foam) that I've used before on previous vehicles, would this be an acceptable product to use? Thanks all!

i took the tb off used some tb cleaner, replaced the gasket, cleaned inside the im where i could reach and that was it.

I think it is key to use a throttle body cleaner, otherwise you will damage the coating inside the throttle body. I have done it removing the air inlet tube and used throttle body cleaner and a lint free cloth. The area that mine needed cleaning was where the butterfly contacts the body.
