Ford SBDS diagnostic system (WA)
I have a Ford Service Bay Diagnostic System.
The SBDS is similar to a older Sun or Bear system, but with custom software for Fords. It'll do ECU passthrough, has cables for every sensor you can imagine, injector tester (8 at a time) current probe, ignition scope, OBD-II and OBD-1 cable, etc, etc.
Even has a Flight Data recorder, so you can hook it up to you're choice of sensors and record data while driving around.
It's updated to MY 1999, can be updated to MY 2000.
I know it's not the latest and greatest scan tool, but it can do stuff to older Fords that a brand new Modis can't!
For me personally, I either own Fords with a OBD-II computer and use my WDS, or I own Fords with NO computer, and I don't need any scanners
Just a sampling of the adapters are shown.
I'd like to see $300 for it. Local pickup, or deliver. I have a lift gate on my truck, so I can move it easily.
